ORDINANCE NO.  1698

AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO SCHOOL ZONES IN THE CITY OF GOODLAND, AMENDING SECTION 16-207 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF GOODLAND.

            BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF GOODLAND, KANSAS:

            Section 1. Section 16-207 of the Code of the City of Goodland, Kansas is hereby amended as follows:

            Delete paragraph (a) and add a new paragraph (a) to Section 16-207 as follows:

                        (a) Enumerated. The following streets are hereby declared to be school zones, as designated by appropriate signage. Each zone runs from sign to sign, located on the streets designated below:

            Arcade from 2^nd to 5^th

            Arcade from 11^th to 14th

            Broadway from 12^th to 15^th

            Caldwell from 3^rd to 5^th

            Caldwell from 11^th to 14^th

            Cherry from 11^th to 14^th

            Wyoming from 10^th to 12^th

            4^th from Walnut to Arcade

            12^th from Caldwell to Arcade

            12^th from Cattletrail to Texas

            13^th from Caldwell to Arcade

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect after its publication in the Goodland Star News.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6^th day of September, 2016, by the Governing Body of the City of Goodland, Kansas.
