GOODLAND CITY COMMISSION
July 10, 2017 5:00 P.M.
Mayor Brian Linin called the meeting to order with Vice-Mayor Annette Fairbanks, Commissioner Gary Farris, Commissioner Gwen Mai and Commissioner John Garcia responding to roll call.
Also present were Rich Simon – Director of Public Works, Dustin Bedore – Director of Electric Utilities, Joni Showalter – Police Chief, Suzanne McClure – Economic Development Director, Sami Philbrick – Museum Director, LeAnn Taylor – Municipal Court Clerk/Judge, Joshua Jordan – IT Director, Brian James – Fire Chief, Mary Volk – City Clerk, and Andrew Finzen – City Manager.

- Appropriation Ordinances, 2017-13, 2017-13A, and 2017-P13
ON A MOTION by Vice-Mayor Fairbanks to approve Consent Agenda seconded by Commissioner Mai. MOTION carried on a VOTE of 5-0.
- Budget FY 2018 – Andrew presented the 2018 proposed budget to the City Commission. Department Heads were present to answer questions. Consensus of the Commission is to hold a Special Meeting Wednesday July 12th at 7:00 A.M. in City Manager’s Office to discuss budget.

Commissioner Mai – 1. Thank Dustin for helping Swim Club with power issue in park over the weekend. Thank you to Barb Bedore for hardwork at the pool to ensure it was clean. We received many compliments on the condition of the pool.
