Request for Sealed Bids – Cemetery Maintenance Services

The City of Goodland is requesting competitive sealed bids for cemetery maintenance services at the Goodland Cemetery. The awarded contractor will be expected to render services beginning March 1, 2018.

All bids must be received in the City Clerk’s office on or before Wednesday, November 15, 2017 by 11:00 a.m. (MST) and should be marked “Cemetery Maintenance Services” on the outside of the envelope.

The bids will be opened in the office of the City Manager at 11:00 a.m. MST on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Contractors will be asked to interview before the Goodland Cemetery Board so that applicants can be thoroughly vetted on their experience and capabilities. While the contract price submitted will be a factor, the lowest bidder may not necessarily be awarded the contract. The Goodland Cemetery Board will make a recommendation to the City Commission based on the bid most advantageous to the City, which will be a combination of the bidder’s contract price and qualifications.

Bid award will take place Monday, December 4, 2017 at the regularly scheduled City Commission Meeting.

Should bids come in above or below anticipated cost, the City reserves the right to adjust the bid specs accordingly. The City of Goodland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for any reason deemed necessary.
