Now Hiring: Part-Time Office Assistant (Police Department)
The City of Goodland is currently accepting applications for a highly motivated individual to fulfill the position of Part-Time Office Assistant. The Part-Time Office Assistant would perform a wide variety of general and/or specialized office support, clerical, and technical work in support of the Goodland Police Department; collects, indexes, processes, maintains, retrieves, copies, and distributes confidential law enforcement data and information; performs a variety of record keeping functions including processing police reports and evidence; receives and provides assistance to the public at the front counter and over the telephone; and provides other support and assistance to other non-sworn functions and activities of the Goodland Police Department as needed.

TYPE: Part-Time / 20 hours per wek
SALARY: $13.00 per hour.
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens that are at least 21 years of age at the time of hire and possess a High School diploma or GED.
- One year of clerical experience that demonstrates a general aptitude for working with the public in a multi-task environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
Final candidates will be required to pass an extensive background investigation. A conditional job offer requires the applicant pass a drug screen.
