Now Hiring: Summer Intern – Downtown Revitalization
Position Description: The City of Goodland through the Dane G. Hansen Foundation and K-State Research and Extension Office is seeking a 2020 summer intern. The intern will develop a downtown master plan for the City of Goodland. The plan should be a holistic view of Goodland’s Main Street and downtown corridor, from zoning to streetscaping to business needs. The intern will spend significant time with data collections and gathering public input. Working with a landscape architect, downtown renderings will be created. If time allows, all phases of the master plan will be compiled. The intern will be credited for all work done as proof of his/her work accomplished.
Location: Goodland, KS
Majors: Students enrolled in regional and community planning, landscape architecture, public administration, and economic development are encouraged to apply.
